RACR Cat Rescue Nottingham
RACR is a small non-profit Cat Rescue in Nottingham, based near the Nottingham City Hospital.
We rescue and rehome many types of animals but have a lot of Cats and Kittens coming into the rescue because so many are unwanted and abandoned now. Take a look through the many profiles of homeless cats from the menu above or read about how you can help us by fostering a cat or kitten. There are many cats that need homes and some that need urgent foster placements. Fostering is a rewarding experience without the commitment of lifelong care for a cat. The rescue cover the Vets bills and donated items to the rescue are distributed equally amongst the fosterers. If you’d like more information read here
There are many different reasons why Cats/Kittens come into RACR. Some are via Social Services, some via Veterinary Clinics, owner surrendered, strays or even other rescues around the UK. Some cats have been abused and some born outside without human contact in their lives. We ensure all animals are Vet checked as soon as they arrive and assessed for suitability to whatever environment. We are very accurate with assessments and can tell you how a cat will suit your lifestyle should you wish to adopt from us.
